A major US city fleet was confronted with significant down time due to battery drain issues caused by improper installation of aftermarket equipment. After six months validating pilot vehicles, a power management/electrical system was installed across all vehicles, providing a common solution with seamless integration for the fleet. With Kerr's on-site training, they successfully eliminated battery drain and had a cleaner, more time-efficient installation.
The end result was a significant reduction in downtime and maintenance costs for the fleet and a more knowledgeable and competitive third party up-fitter that retains the up-fit contract with the fleet to this day.
